NGA NW Natural

I posted this as my Facebook satus shortly after my birthday in January, but I wanted to post it here as well, as an effort to journal about my experience.  I have decided to, and have been training since the start if the new year, to compete in a fitness competition. This is how the journey started:

"Tonight I begin a new journey. It will be one of the hardest things I have ever attempted and will test every ounce of my willpower. The length of this journey alone is daunting as it will take most of the year 2014 from start to finish. But I'm determined. I want to know that I've got what it takes deep down to see something through from start to finish. No cheating, no excuses, just results. My 30th year will be the year that I prove to myself that I've got it together mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. My 30th year is going to be AWESOME! NGA NW Natural, here I come!"
